General and Cosmetic Dentistry
I follow “The Daughter Test.” I won’t do anything to your teeth that I wouldn’t do to my own daughter’s teeth.
I believe the best approach to modern dentistry is to conservatively preserve your natural teeth.
Minimal reduction is the guiding principle in my dentistry. With modern materials and techniques it is possible to provide lasting restorations with minimal drilling of sound tooth structure.
While I perform most tasks of a general practitioner, my particular interest is in the worn dentition and the conservative restoration of it without the removal of further tooth tissue.
I graduated from Otago Dental School in 1979. After a year as a dental house surgeon at Dunedin Hospital and a further year in private practice in Christchurch, I spent two years in Sevenoaks in England working for a New Zealand dentist.
In 1984 we returned to New Zealand and settled in Tauranga. I purchased my practice in 1985 and have continued to practice here ever since.
